Hours: Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. Closed each day 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm.

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Baxter/Izard Counties Program awards scholarships in the amount of $200-$500 to low income single parents who reside in Baxter and Izard Counties so that they may pursue the goal of higher education or technical training. Funds may be used for tuition, texts, transportation costs, child care, and utilities.

Applications are available at the following locations in Mountain Home:

ASUMH Adult Education Center (1322 Bradley Drive, Suite 7)

Baxter County Department of Human Services (204 Bucher Drive)

Baxter County Health Department (206 Bucher Drive)

Baxter County Library (424 West 7th Street)

Advanced Auto Body Repair (604 Market Street)
