Description of Organizations Services:
The Reppell Diabetes Learning Center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association. We offer a comprehensive and progressive diabetes education program. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for people with diabetes. Your physician, registered nurses, registered dietitian, social worker and Certified Diabetes Educators make up the diabetes education team at Baxter Regional. You and your family members complete this important team. A physician referral is needed for admission to the program. Medicare and some private insurance companies cover program charges. Group classes are scheduled for Tuesdays and Thursdays. The length of each class session is 2 hours. Individual sessions can be scheduled as needed on Mondays or Wednesdays.
